Anson Boon, a British actor, landed a role in Alexandre Aja’s 2019 creature feature throwback, Crawl, despite any formal acting training, before receiving critical praise for his performance in Roger Mitchell’s Blackbird.

Boon, 19, started this year with momentum, thanks to his role in Sam Mendes’s critically lauded war thriller 1917, and will be seen next in Julian Jarrod’s Sulphur and White, and TV drama SHADOWPLAY later this year.
